Shockey Jewelers, founded in 1937, is a third generation family-owned business located in historic downtown
Elgin, Illinois. Peter Shockey, GIA Graduate Gemologist, is the current owner.
Shockey Jewelers, a pillar of the Elgin business community, takes pride in preserving the traditions that
have successfully taken the store from the 1930's into the new millennium. We remain committed to providing
quality merchandise and the highest level of craftsmanship and service at a fair price. A fine jewelry
decision can be overwhelming, so we take the time to educate our customers and guide them in making

nine years and is Past President. He has been an active member of Rotary International since 1990. As a
family-owned Fox Valley business, Shockey Jewelers supports many local organizations and charities.
